Which tonneau cover is best??

I got the Bakflip x4 or whatever it is. like it a lot, mainly because it sets so low you hardly notice it's there. I put the bedrug in and it's basically a 5'7 trunk.

I don't ever lift it , the TRX isn't a pickup I have real ones to haul and tow with.

I use the Bakflip mx4 as well. My truck came with the factory soft folding cover and it was terrible. Backflip all the way had them on my last 3 trucks. I do like the Revolver one as well but I’ve never tried it yet.

Really depends on your needs/wants. There will be pros and cons to each such as being secure or not, ease of access, RamBar fitting, possibly losing some space in the bed, etc.

I wanted something that could be secured and was durable. My neighbor had a RetraxPro XR on his Tundra and it sold me. It has done exactly what I wanted and it's been fantastic.

Bought the syneticusa retractable model on Amazon, and for the price was absolutely worth it. Half the price of Retrax.

I have a TruXedo Lo Pro and love it. Does exactly what I need.

I went with the Lomax trifold hard cover. Easy install, looks nice, keeps the bed secure and haven't noticed any moisture. Recommended!

I just did exactly this and it's basically perfect.

Never had the bedrug before, but love it and wish I had it on my last truck.

I was going to order the X4S but I'll have to look into the Sentry CT. I don't want a folding/flipping top and didn't want to lose any bed space. Thanks AJ!

My concern with the X4s. Go to 7:25
My plastic cap was broken before I even installed it lol 🙈

Unfortunately that probably happened when they packaged it. Once installed it would be pretty hard to damage unless one is careless. I’m on my 2nd one after having it on my Raptor with no issues.

Probably so. Manufacturer did send 4 in the mail right away so their customer service was very good 👍

I have the Bakflip MX4 and no complaints (had it on another truck as well). Nice solid design and pretty water tight.

Have used the Pace Edwards Jackrabbit on my F150.. it was great except the leather needed constant care to avoid fading.

A buddy of mine has the Peragon and loves it. I do like how that one is easily removable and will fit in the back seat... Also looks great.

No complaints about my peragon.
Mine came with the Paragon. I’m not real happy with it. Poor rear firmest and leaks a lot of water into the bed. And the strap hanging in the back is a PIA.
Anyone want to buy it???

hands down recommend the diamondback switchback. Just got two, for my Jeep gladiator and heavy duty ram. It’s a great product, I’ve had some problems with the agricover (lomax) quality recently even though the one on my TRX is fine, on the Jeep the seals were coming apart and it was poorly coated, so switched over and glad I did. Probably the most heavy duty 3 section folder there is. I’ll probably get one for the TRX eventually. Here’s some photos from the Jeep.

That’s a bummer. Sounds like someone did a crap install and didn’t do the seal kit.

I love the retrax pro. Secure and nice lookin

I have the AmorFlex Undercover which I also had on my previous Raptor. I have been very satisfied with it as it is low profile and easy to open.

Two things to know, it does block the rear window view when fully opened and the Mopar bed divider will not fit with this cover.

I have no experience with the factory covers but I have seen others say they thought the after market covers were higher quality.
I have this only not with the textured surface and it leaks pretty badly.

Hmm, haven't had that issue although it stays in the garage, but has been out in some heavy rains and plenty of wash jobs.

Had a Bak4 and Diamondback on my F150…neither were water-tight. Bak delaminated after 3 years and damages easily from hail, went to Diamondback next, Diamondback was a real beast & bulletproof. Only downsides I experienced was weight and bed access.

Lomax Carbon just went on my new TRX and love it so far. Very light, waterproof (so far: 8 weeks), strong, one man operation To put on or take off, secure.

If anyone is looking for the factory installed trifold soft tonneau cover my 23 TRX came with it. I removed it the first day and got my bacflip mx4 ordered. Love the hard flush fit tonneau covers and not so much on the soft ones especially when they aren’t flush fit. I personally hate the look of tonneau covers that stick up over an inch or more. I guess I’m just really picky but the flush fit covers look so much better to me at least. Local pickup southern Maine area and you can have it for free I guess. 👍😂
