Not a bad deal, but I would wait.
The mods only have value to the current owner and the "right" buyer. Otherwise, those $$$ are never recouped.
It always raises my "concern" level to see a wheel - tire - spring mod.......before break in.
Kinda like a guy selling a HC RE with 400 miles.......equipped with narrow front tires and 1/2 worn out bead lock drag slicks !!!!!!!!!

So you have to decide what it's worth to you but honestly, that's no miles, optioned out, etc. and all the labor, time, etc. it's not that bad of a deal. Would I try to get to say 95k? Sure but it's here and now.

I think its potentially a great deal if you're planning on 37's, backflip, and an exhaust. He's surely not making any money on this deal after paying for taxes/mods/transportation.

Plus you might be able to save some $ on taxes if it's a private party sale.

Why not? He clearly didn't drive it back or there would be more miles. Even if he got a Koons deal you need to add back in tax, shipping, add-ons, etc. It's not that bad of a deal at 95k or even 98k considering the options. If you don't like the springs, wheels, cover, etc., then it's obviously not a deal. The who what when and where is silly speculation. No one knows but the owner.

Is it a sound vehicle and you're comfortable with the price point? If you are concerned about abuse, take it to the dealership and have them scan it, they can tell how hard that thing was driven. With that low of miles and full warranty, decide if waiting is worth it. My "new" truck had 36 miles on it...who knows what happened in those miles but I don't worry about it. I'm enjoying my TRX now.

So taking 10k off and going low in the options, you're at 99k, or at least he is. Likely more. Depending on how the taxes are done in your state, you can adjust accordingly. He's not being unreasonable like some of the listings that are posted.

Forgot about the mileage part, so yeah he had it shipped. Not saying it's a good or bad deal, was mainly commenting on the fact that the guy told him he paid $3k over sticker. Just thought it was odd that he'd order one halfway across the country and get it shipped to him if it wasn't to get it for a discount? That part just sounds a little off to me. But then again he passed up the other big discount dealers, so maybe he was unaware.

You are also assuming only $10k off the sticker. Koons is $10k off the price when you lock. For example, I missed getting in before the big price hike earlier this year but I will actually pay almost $14k less than what is on the window sticker…..if this dude got the order in before the price increase then he could have paid over $15k less than what is on the window sticker.

Yeah, it's hard to say what's accurate but looking at his garage I don't think he is looking for a price as much as he was looking for availability. Pure speculation. Doesn't matter, work the numbers and see if it works for you (to the potential buyer).

I get where the seller is coming from, in this moment in time.
But when has ANYONE (except recently) asked for or recouped their taxes, dealer handling, etc.......on a USED vehicle?

OP is from Colorado and the seller is also in Colorado ... only 17 miles apart ... l would appreciate if he would be able to go see it in person for me ... l'm interested in it ... it seems to be a real deal ... he sent me a copy of the title and his DL ... address's match ...
