What do we think of this??? 650hp Supercharged 5.7 hemi street truck

Yeah, but Ram doesn't make a 2-door. This appears to be just a mod kit from an aftermarket company. Not really any different than a Hennessey type setup. Except that on this one, you're starting with a crappy ass Bighorn (as far as I can tell).
Fair point will interesting to see the sales numbers and hype around this vehicle

It should be interesting, not what I expected but heck at least they do have a 4wd option. This still leaves the window open for SRT to develop a 392 or Hellcat sport truck version as an actual RAM / SRT product.

After seeing the price of this street truck, what do you think the new trx truck will be priced at?

I don't know about you guys, but the price of new vehicles is absurd lately. I have to imagine most of us here are doing well financially and can afford a lot of things, but it's to the point I look at new vehicles and just say, "it's not even close to worth that price to me".

I've been looking for a new fun car and looking at new Mustangs and even a Corvette E-Ray (I don't think I'm old enough for the Vette yet, lol) and I just keep thinking, nah, it's not worth that money. I wouldn't even consider a $140k truck.

Not really a fan of the graphics, but I do like the concept of the truck.

I personally would be more excited if it was offered as a 2 door truck with a bench seat.
Couldn't agree more, but not for 90k. Well see what they actually sell for once they hit the market.

I will be happy to keep the 21' with that price. I will take a ZO6 and keep my slow blue 21' 😂

Man, right there with both of you.
I am totally not "corvette guy" but the C8 Z06's certainly have me pondering if I want to be that guy.

The curve has been going up steeper, no doubt about that I don’t doubt that vehicles cost more due to everything extra going in them but at the same point it’s hard to justify.
You can see how steep of a increase it’s been since the 2020 model years of all vehicles

2019-2025 Mustang Gt premium increased by 11,000 about 27%

2013-2019 same model had a 5K increase

2019-2025 lariat f250 increased 18K or about 38%
2013-2019 same model had a 5K increase

So no it’s not just us “thinking “ things are getting more expensive faster it just is happening faster.

Believe if you ran these numbers across the board you would more than likely see higher percent increases in recent years.

My theory is that car companies (in the same way that home builders did) began to substantially charge more while delivering subpar homes. All surrounded around COVID time with price gouging and taking advantage of “shortages”
The amount of 500-800K houses being built like budget houses is astounding.

North of $95,000 = Solid No!

Spend $100k on this or put a Whipple and lowering kit on the 1500 Laramie that already own for about $12k? Tough choice…

Just drop a regular cab SRT and take my fking money already.

That not comparable.

Taking an existing vehicle off the assembly line and then having a separate entity modify it will cost more. Doesn't matter if it's Hennessey, Rousch, or some other outfit, it really adds to the price.

Meanwhile, a TRX simply rolls off the assembly line as ordered. No extra transport, parts, or manhours required.

It’s cool (not a fan of the graphics though), but not for $90k starting price. TRX started at $69k when it first came out, let’s not forget. Looking back it was a steal.
Compare prices of industrial metals 2020 vs 2025 (+200-400%). Vehicles will never be at the price they used to.

Think they increased tolerance in piston rings in the 5.7? I know that would create issues with the 5.7 and 6.4 when boosting both.
