What did you do to your TRX today?

Got her last weekend and my daughter took it and got the windows tinted for my birthday. I will probably do something light on the front . . . but didn't just did the sides and back for now.
Several members here have fried their computers when getting tint on the front as the tint fluid runs down the front windshield and behind the dashboard. I would be careful with that.

Funny you should say that. My daughter's BF (who is a part owner in the shop that did the work) texted me last night and said something about not wanting to touch the front b/c the ECU was right underneath. Do people just not to anything to the front of these?

People do put tint on the front but they take the risk that it could be an expensive fix if the installer isn’t careful. Isn’t front tint illegal in most states anyway?

I am really impressed by how well your truck has held up with the way you beat on it.
Would you feel the same way if i told you i just got it back from the dealer after rear main seal replacement + front driveshaft + front driver CV axle? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

We have our windshield ceramic tinted but we had to bring towels to make sure no issue. We know have a big rock chip right in the driver's line of sight but im riding it out for a while b/c i dont wanna run the risk of frying shit when i re-tint the new windshield

I got mine done with 70% Autobahn i3 ceramic. The shop used 2 soaker ropes (different thicknesses) and lots of towels on the dash. No issues.

I did have a conversation with the owner about my concerns. He assured me he had done many mopars and was well aware of the issue with water behind the dash. Told me his process and sure enough no problems at all.

If you ever decide to sell your truck, make sure to list it as “Used – Like New.” 😂😂😂

I got my windshield tinted. I did ask around. The tint shop I used, used soak ropes and lots of absorbent towels so there was no chance of water getting behind the dash. They did several other TRX's when I was getting mine tinted.

Now autobahn has ceramic i3 +...

The no RAM grille was the best decision I ever made.

Now if I could only get someone to take the original grille off my hands…
How bad do you want it gone?
