What are you listening to?

If I had to listen to one band the rest of my life, it would be Tool without a doubt. But, I'm shocked to see noone is into chill or dubstep, house, or any techno of any kind. I will blast Heilung with the windows down but mainly love the highs and lows of electronic music. Anything but punk or most country and I'm good. 🍻

TOOL obvs one of the greatest bands ever. I do like a lot of electronic music, Underworld is probably my fave electronic artist, but I like a lot of dark stuff like Trentemoller, Massive Attack (particularly Mezzanine), VCMG (who are actually 2 of the true pioneers of electronic music, Vince Clark and Martin Gore)... Dubstep is fun but it's like Chinese food. But I can't understand why you wouldn't want to listen to some old school punk; Black Flag, Sex Pistols, Bad Brains, The Cramps... awesome stuff. I'll also listen to country music... but not that watered-down Hollywood trash they play on country radio now; more like some Waylon, old Merle, Hank (all three of 'em)

Pan Tin Alley, compliments of Pass Labs and Focal.

Phantogram’s latest sounds great in my Rebel.

I am sitting in the OR and the nurse is playing some god awful modern rock/pop crap. It has no soul. And every song and beat is the same.

I think my music library abruptly stops in 2012 except for some rap

moe. Especially live. Chuck Garvey is a nasty guitar player!!!

Man my music tastes are all over the place. Guess that comes from being an 80s kid. Lately I mostly listen to audio books though. Guess I’m getting old and boring! Love rocking out to tunes while on my motorcycles though.

Think there is a pattern here?

Resurrecting

this makes me feel like a bootlegger running cop blockades

One of the best was SRV in 1986, no one can play better live. I've seen hundreds of concerts since the seventies. Frank Zappa at the Manley Field House. VH when VH was VH. Just saw John Fogerty do a 50th anv. show, he can still kick it. After the Motley Crue show(198?) I was wheeled to my vehicle in a hand dolly.
