I have had a crack in mine for over a year. It was on the passenger side and the crack has stopped on the passenger side so I just leave considering how many dirt miles the truck sees. Just don't want to replace it and have to again right away.

Quote for OEM glass was around $2k from Safelit and $2,400 from dealer. Plus I have Llumar tint on it which another couple hundred.

Mine is crushed where it hit, I’m afraid it will leak in short order or I might have waited a bit

Every state should be like that, unfortunately TN is currently not
I actually wouldn't want that in TN. It would raise our insurance rates even more (to cover the costs of all the "free" windshields).

I personally would like it to be an option. In other states where I have lived, insurers offered a glass deductible buyback option that one could select (for a marginal increase in premium) or not. This allowed one to purchase if they wanted or not if they didn’t.
