Weird engine sound

I was told I was hearing the hydraulic lifters and not exhaust at all...?

I've owned 5 Hemi powered vehicles and I've never heard lifters loud enough to be noticeable. That, and an exhaust tick/leak has a very distinct sound.

You are good, totally normal. I have found that if I turn the radio up, I do not notice the sound at all.
If it bothers you just straight pipe it and bwoody intake. These and the radio I don’t hear anything abnormal

There is the typical Hemi exhaust tick that should only last about 30-45 seconds after a cold start.

However, there are a considerable number of broken or not fully tightened exhaust manifold bolts floating around out there. My buddy's Launch edition has a horrible exhaust leak that makes an awful ticking sound all the time now. It started off mild, then got worse and now it's just plain annoying. He took it to the dealer and they of course told him it was fine. No, it's not. So make your dealer fix these issues. The dealer in his case refuses to fix the issue so he's having aftermarket exhaust installed then is going after the dealer for the bill. I hope he prevails. That's total BS.

I had my truck 3 days. It had a knock, not a tick. I first heard it at a drive through, the reflected sound from the wall of the building caught my attention. I crawled under it while it was running and I could clearly hear a tick/knock coming from the underside of the block. I took it in for service to have the tech listen to the engine with a stethoscope. Everything sounded good on the top end, so they put it up on the rack and the ever so faint tick/knock turned out to be a bottom end problem that was severe enough that Corp. told them to pull the motor and they would send a new crate motor. I refused to accept this so they unwound my deal, took the truck back and I placed an order for a 2022.

I really hope they have these issues sorted out soon because the couple folks I know with TRX's all have some sort of motor issue. I was floored when they told me my 3 day old truck with 300 miles on it needed a new motor!
I can't believe I stumbled across this. My motor threw a rod at 800 miles. I bet if you stomped on it yours would too.
I got screwed by FCA. New motor, blower and repaired fire damage. They were giving me $7500 to keep the truck but seem to be reneging on it.

Holy !@#$ man, I hate hearing that. Yeah, I very likely could have (or would have) blown the motor at some point if I hadn't investigated that knock.

I think that chirp is a poorly sealed exhaust manifold. To fix the chirp, you need new gaskets and a better seal with a deliberate torque pattern.
At least… that’s what I isolated it to on mine I think.
Do you have anything to confirm that
