How much weight could be lost taking all of the skid plates off?

I have taken off the main front one and it isn't like they weigh several hundred pounds. My guess is 40-50lbs if you took off all of them including plastic and bolts.
If someone wanted to strip weight out I would look at wheels and tires first. Going with a smaller street tire will save a decent amount of rotating mass.

Well if you are looking at loosing weight, the extra seats and spare removal would proly get you more savings.

Well, it looks like this is about a '16 1500.

I ditched the skid plate on my '14 (for easier access) and doubt it was over four pounds.

Why? Just removing the skid plates isn't going to make the truck measurably quicker and certainly not faster with the speed limiter still there.

Speaking of the speed limiter, the TRX can hit it's speed limiter quicker (by far) than any vehicle I've ever own. I mean 0 to 118 in a TRX can be done in ~1/3 mile and ~15 secs.

Why stop at skid plates? If you want to save weight I would recommend going this route... Any lawn chair should do

You're joking but this is what people are doing on social media. Not sure what the point is.

If you want to reduce the weight of a TRX for "some reason or event", you may want to consider keeping a minimal amount of gas in the tank for the reason/event, when possible. I mean a full tank of gas in the TRX weights about 200 lbs.

This kid beats the CEO of Stellantis for most punchable face in the world. Clip is infuriating on so many levels of absurdity 😤
