WeatherTech mudflaps installed…first look…

Just put them on my truck last week, picked them up from another member on here, I think they look as factory as you’re gonna get. People look at the truck and never mention the size of the flaps.

So the off road boards were not enough to protect your paint?

The boards add protection to an extent. But the rear panels take a beating if you are out tearing sh!t up and having fun.

On this truck these flaps actually look sick and unassuming and fit the part of an off road rig. Can anyone who ordered these provide a WT link? All I'm finding is basic 1500 ram flaps and I'm sure they have custom fit ones for this beast.

Thanks for the link, guys, just ordered. Seems like I will like them. Being a former '19 longhorn guy who went through a mess with rocker panel and fender flare road rash on that truck.. I'll be installing these day 1 because I hit a lot of gravel roads and want to minimize having to do a paint job like before!

I honestly feel like the TRX should have come with these. Very unassuming.

Do you think these can be painted? I wonder how they'd look on a white color-matched truck.

I was flinging you guys crap the other day about mud flaps but now I think they're a necessity. This past weekend I drove up to Three Creeks Lake out of Sisters, OR. Road went from asphalt to gravel to mud. My truck got absolutely covered in mud. The girlfriend rolled her window down before I could stop her and I have mud chunks on the interior that flew through the window although it was opened very briefly.

Dammit.

They flex pretty good so I am not sure if paint would crack or not.

Just a normal socket. If you have an electric ratchet it expedites the process quite a bit. I ran into one bolt that just wanted to spin in the u-nut without coming out. Had to put a little pressure on it but no big deal.

Anyone know how these compare to the rokblockz?
