WARRANTY - Which One Is "Worth" It?

and not ashamed to do it when proven wrong brother!

I got back to Ziegler to double check on the price before I pulled the trigger and they stated the system has a “glitch” for the TRX - and the price more than doubled - more like a damn bait and switch which I gave them $hit about. So, back to Granger…

I let them know I would update my TRX Friends of their

practices.

wow! didn't expect that. I compared the same people, and when I talked with granger they were cheaper. glad you didn't get taken to lunch on that one.

How long do you have to pull the trigger on the Maxcare? Can you do it close to the end of the standard warranty or is does it need to be done with purchase or soon after? Looking to go with Granger. I guess I can just call but that’s what this place is for !!

You want to purchase the max care before your factory bumper to bumper runs out, or price goes up is my understanding

I’ve used factory plans twice with great ease and pricing

They have a pay in full discount that brings the price down from the quote on site, depending on the state you live in.

Above is correct, as you wait the price changes slightly. Also you would have to deal with any plan price increases. In the last 4 years plans have went up exponentially.
I am not sure if ram is the same, but on our raptor when we traded in we received the “unused “ number of months back. Worked out as a great deal as we had the cam phaser and sunroof worked on several times. Paid for itself and we got plan reimbursed when we sold.

If you live in Florida you can't buy the extended warranty from Granger at a discount rate. If you have a home etc in another state you can use that address to work around the restriction.

I did Ziegler mopar plan max care. I don't drive as much and showed to the selling dealer the price (3443.00). The dealer finally gave it to me for that. 8 year 85k miles. It seems around 4k is pretty much standard pricing. To me the selling dealer wanted 4995.00 for the same one I said no. They finally gave it to me for the lower price. It never hurts to comparison shop these guys. Help keeps them honest.. Icecobra

All good here, hope all is good with you as well. In Florida we get hosed on not being able to buy these extended warranties at a discount price. The dealers aren't allowed to discount them to Florida residents. I think California residents have the same restrictions oddly enough.
