Hi everyone. Been looking at these trucks for awhile and ready to pull the trigger. Had a dealership willing to sell a used 2023 level 2 with 30 miles for msrp. I am torn because I am good with write offs this year and could use the write off for next year. Also have some expenses at the end of the year that would make buying the truck better in January.

Question is will the trucks be harder to find in three months than now? I am thinking they might be and 2024 final edition coming out.

I will be paying cash so interest rates won’t be an issue. But I refuse to pay over msrp.

Thanks in advance and I can’t wait to own this beast.

If it has most of what you want, you won't find a better deal. 2024s are already basically 10k more. This is a no brainer. Btw, what is the price?

I can’t imagine him finding anything close to MSRP after January no way! Lucky if you can find a 24’ at MSRP now sooo?!!

My brand new one that I ordered had 26 miles on it when I picked it up, so I’d say go for it. I agree cash is the way to go if you can swing it. Feels great to have the title in my safe.

from what I have read on here is that production on all TRX's with the 6.2 end in December. So come January you are behind the eight ball and like said above you will probably not see them listed at MSRP. As for the "last Call" TRX's. I'm betting you won't see adm on them less that 50k

I wouldn't expect to see a dramatic drop in availability in just a few months. Sounds like you are good with buying used and have lots of reasons to wait. Probably best to hold off. Used market will take some time to tighten.
Will be interested to see the reaction when the 2025 TRX is announced. You could see a rush of buying earlier TRXs when people realize that the new TRX is a shadow of its past self or they could abandon Ram as they are seen to retreat from the V8 market.

They obviously haven’t studied their base on the product

Wouldn't worry about conjecture about used car prices and availability. Those are just things we use to convince ourselves to buy now. Buy it according to your tax reasons. That would outweigh any price shifts in the market in two months time.
