VON Received. Looking forward to my VIN

..........when do I have to tell my wife?

tell her after all the amazon packages arrive, after the target shopping spree, or after her credit card bills come in the mail

I waited a couple months after my wife's credit cards bills arrived before I drove her to the local dealer and showed her the TRX in person. She saw the local 50k adm, and I told her I'm saving 59k by ordering out of state. It's all about the presentation.

I'm brand new here. I ordered today from Coons and got my VON. Red, level 2, hood graphics, red interior accents, lower two tone paint and tonneau cover. I'm very excited. I assume that I can expect to wait 5-7 months?

Safe bet for sure. Sounds like best case is 3 months after production, worst case is a year-ish.

The more stuff I buy for this thing the more impatient I am going to become. Already have rims/tires and the SLP resonators. AFE Momentum GT is next on the list.

I had my Von the same day with Koons same build with the exception of the bead locks.

Placed my order with Granger (Amanda) today, super easy. Got my VON in 45 minutes from the start of the process. Swore I would never buy a black truck again but saw a stealth wrap and just have to do it. The waiting begins.

I thought about it...... got some quotes in my area. $8500-11500.

I think I'm gonna spend that money on other mods.

I consciously tried to steer myself away from another black truck. Almost ordered white, but in the end I just couldn't resist. Love how mean it looks.

 

[Driven To Build]

Got one quote so far and it’s $9,000 from a very high end installation shop. All trim removed that can come off. It’s expensive but I really love the look. I still have to check a few other places for cost / quality but I’m in balls deep now the truck is ordered in black.
