Can seem to find new info on when I should expect a Vin # after ordering...would anyone who has ordered recent have any info?

The vin usually comes within a few days of Ram receiving the order from your dealer.

Typically 1-3 days after the dealer places the order, excluding weekends and holidays. At most a week from what I've heard. I had to check with my dealer after a week or so because I wasn't notified, but I ordered on a Saturday and the order didn't go through until Tuesday. So, not sure when it actually was assigned, but within a week.

I ordered last July but many on this forum that have recently ordered have reported the same results. In fact there was a post on here earlier today where the poster talked about getting his vin assigned the day after he ordered. Ram assigns vin after receiving the order unlike Raptors where the vin is assigned much later in the process. You should be getting your vin rather quickly after the order is submitted.

I received mine the day after I ordered mine.
