VIN “811 & 812” April Order Group

Seems like I ordered my truck a long time ago. I'll be keeping mine forever. With the prices of new trucks I doubt I could ever afford another new one.

I miss this thread. I am currently waiting on a raptor order and those guys are no fun like y'all.
This is how Ford guys party!!

It’s hard to believe I ordered my truck almost 3 years ago already (ordered 4/13). I’m just a little shy of 30,000 miles since delivery in August of 2021. I now compare the cost of my truck to a 2024 and it’s shocking how much more a replacement would be. At some point my TRX will be retired from daily activities, but I have a hard time seeing myself ever selling this truck.

Meanwhile, for the past couple of weeks I've been thinking "It's been a while since I drove the TRX". So today I took it on a short drive (20 miles round trip) to town.

Noticed that it had just under a 3/4 tank according to the gauge, then looked in the log book. Yup, it had been a while. more like two whiles, really. Last time I put gas in it was in May.

Guess that's what happens when winter never really materialized here. There was no reason to flog through the snow since there wasn't any to speak of.

You need to drive your truck more!

I know, I know.

But without any meaningful snowfall even the Challenger AWD has been overkill this "winter".

Same here. Mine sat all winter. I wanted to take it out but never saw enough snow to have fun with.

Put it this way, if there’s more salt than snow on the road I’ll drive something else at this point. I hate rust and she’s a keeper. Just started daily driving her again a couple weeks ago.
