VIN “811 & 812” April Order Group

It should say “I got Jeffed by FCA” on the front or back somewhere. That comment still makes me laugh when I think about it. 😂
I’ll make sure I add it to the shirt! Hell, I might add it to my shirt too since it got built and shipped 2 weeks before @ChevyLee ’s and it looks like he will still get his before I do! 😂

I might be Jeffed now LOL. Mine is still sitting at the distribution center. I bet Jeff has it held up there while the rats are chewing through my wiring harness just enough to make things not work as soon as I drive it off the lot.

It’s not too late to add it to your shirt! lol

Well, I’ve had mine for one week today so I figured I’d post my thoughts here. Currently at 558 miles and will do all the fluids over the next week. Definitely had no trouble getting through the break-in period quickly. Did a couple launches yesterday. Had a blast. She gets up and goes. I will say since it’s so big you do lose some of the “illusion of speed” you get in a sports car. But I still think it’ll hold it’s own with just about anything on the street up to like 70 MPH because the traction is incredible.

Also went out for Five Guys and inadvertently tested it’s water fording capabilities on the way there through a flooded construction zone. Least I got a rainbow out of the deal.

Getting used to the attention it gets. One guy parked behind me and followed me all the way into and through the store gushing over it. That surprised me because it’s just a plain silver truck with no decals. I guess it’s not as low key as I expected because lots of people stare and know exactly what it is.

But the biggest surprise so far is how much my wife likes this thing. I thought for sure she’d think it was too big and too ridiculous. But instead she’s been asking questions about the engine, suspension, tires, etc. And she’s been raving about the interior and all the “suede” and soft bits. Weird as hell because she’s never really been interested in vehicles at all.

If you’re still waiting, hold strong 811/812 crew! Love this stupid thing and it was worth the wait.

Looks good (but I’m partial).

I agree on the attention. I actually had a guy at a stop light today lean out of his window to take a picture of my truck. Never had that happen before.

I'm 811817 and mine is on the slow train to Iowa...to wait for a truck to South Dakota. Might be mine!

Out of curiosity, are you silk screening these or DTG? Or transfer?
It’s just a hobby for me. Since I already had a vinyl cutter to make decals for my race car, it was easy for me to get a heat press and use heat transfer vinyl.

Can I just say THANKS for your great sig' !?! Imma' keep that great idea going. It gives a great *ballpark* idea of time frames one can expect from one status to another to all the newbs!!! (y)

My beast has made it to the Rail Yard in Nashville after being KZT for over a week. I should be cruising in style by this weekend! I'm just a little bit excited.

Ordered 4/16 - 811608

Jeff wasting bandwidth again…. lol

Yeah, Jeff is still on top of things. He emailed me the day after I picked the truck up (Aug 17th) to tell me it was built, and that the ETA to the dealer is August 12th. Good to know I wasn’t hallucinating when I thought I was driving my truck home the day prior.

Confirmed today that mine arrived in the rail yard here in PA. Another day or two to make the 1 hr trek to the dealership. Taking care of the paperwork to see if i can have it for the weekend. :)

If we have a 811 & 812 10 year reunion, we need to invite Jeff

Mine is supposed to show up in the Shreveport rail yard next week!!
10 year reunion? Wonder how many of us will be driving the new E-ReX by then??? 😂
