I can pay cash full MSRP (and maybe trade in my low mile Raptor) for a Lunar or black TRX that's optioned similarly. I've been looking for a month but every dealer seems to be playing games with ADM or dealer options or additional freight and other made-up mumbo jumbo. Even willing to pay for a Tyrant 37 or other upgrade package. Any no-BS dealers out there?

If your willing to buy a tyrant package then my understanding is that is still a pretty good deal. Reach out to Granger. They are quite active in this forum

I did and their Lunar just sold. They are one Bed Utility package short of the "right" black truck for me. I use the step and extra tiedowns all the time on my current truck.

I understand. I love this truck, it's the first vehicle I ordered to get what I wanted. Those are items you could add though if everything else meets your needs

Easy to add those Bed utility options. Don't let that keep you from getting an otherwise perfect truck for you.

It's difficult to find one exactly how you want. I'm about to buy a black TRX at MSRP with about $7K in options I don't want. Dealers like to order these things with every box checked for maximum profit. I'm just hoping one day when I sell it I can recoup some of that money back.

And as others have said the bed utility group is probably the easiest option to add after purchase.

I am probably in the minority, but I am not a fan of OEM bed liners because quality is cheap and they fade over time so I didn’t order the bed utility package just for that reason. I will add a BedRug, bed step, and opt for some Built Right Industries bed panels. It’s very easy to add rivet nuts yourself. As others have noted above, don’t let a $1k accessory package prevent you from buying the truck when it checks all the boxes.

Good advice guys. I guess I was just thinking at $100K+ I should get exactly what I want. But there are better liner and bed step options out there. Thanks!

IT does NOT have the bed utility, but there is a level two black one at Wilmington Auto Center, which is between Columbus and Cincinnati, OH...(I don't know, but I think they will deal on it?) Reason I say that is I was talking to them about a 392 Wrangler (I already have a TRX) and they were willing to throw punches with the big boys on price...I talked to a guy named Gavin, sounds like a young guy likes cars and honest with me so far...anyway...Just trying to help! The window sticker is on their website... Good Luck!

You really have to luck into one at MSRP right now, due to the uncertainty of 2024 and limited factory orders sitting on lots. It's supply and demand. I think if you find one that hits all the check marks and you have the means to do it, nobody is going to criticize you for paying an ADM in this current market.

Sorry, I missed that this one had an ADM on it. I paid well below sticker but I ordered the truck and didn't buy it off the lot. I also traded my Raptor in on it and they were fair on the trade value. It might be worth asking if they are negotiable and what they would give you for your truck. The guy I worked with there was Kurt Keyser, good dude.

I worked with Kurt too. He had told me awhile back that the special editions were selling above asking but he was great when I ordered mine well under sticker.

I ended up buying the MSRP one that was exactly what I would have spec'd except for the bed utility group. As was pointed out, I can easily add higher quality versions of those features.

I used used Jack Phelan in Countryside, IL (630) 863-2943

I paid MSRP and put a $2000 deposit down which locked in my price and then had it transported to where I live in San Diego. Had nothing but a very very good experience with this dealership and the sales guy.

It looks like these guys are in your back yard kinda sorta, just passing along the recommendation.
