Typical New Delivery Miles?

I had 12 on mine and honestly, followed break in somewhat. I didn't constantly do full-throttle launches or accelerations but I was driving at highway speeds from the hospital my son was born in for about 30 mins home. Also, after 100 miles I drove a little harder, after 300 I drove a little harder with some WOT accelerations, and I'm 14 miles away from 500.

I tell you all this cause I'm not afraid of them voiding the warranty when a break-in is listed as RECOMMENDED. Nowhere does it say you MUST follow or your warranty will be voided. There's a lot of fear spread around this forum. That said if you're hammering the thing from day one, launches, racing, etc and there's an issue, good luck. There's a BIG difference between what I did and the latter. Remember, the engines are ran on an engine dyno before install. The break-in is listed so people don't get right in and hammer the thing before the rest of the truck is ready for it.

Hello All - Picking up my new TRX soon and just wondered what typical mileage is for a new delivery. Two reasons I'm asking:

1) First new vehicle I've purchased in over a decade and wasn't sure if 24 miles on the clock is typical
2) The first 100 mile break in period seems pretty specific and folks here have talked about warranties being voided for non compliance of the break in period. I would be 25% of the way through that initial break in without knowing how it had been driven previously.

Thanks for the input and excited to officially join the community!
Had 24 km on mine

10 miles when I took delivery at Koons, test drove 2 miles and had 13 when RoadRunner Transport delivered it to my office last Monday...Followed break-in pretty much as close as possible and now have just shy of 700 miles...Let the games began:cool:

mine was 15

I had 24 miles when I picked it up but the dealer had told me he went to the train station and picked it up himself... i was fine with those miles.... almost at the magic 500 miles now!!

13 on my Odometer Statement.

17 when I took delivery ( the gas station was 2 miles away apparently )

10 on the statement. 18 at the dealership. 45 when I got it. Top speed on performance pages showed 99mph and it looks like someone logged a decent 60' 😂

Truck just hit 1100 and is running like a champ.

Don't sweat it OP - chances are you'll be just fine. 🍻

Edit: chances are you're not sweating it because this thread is almost three months old now.
