They could have a case if it was recovered and the vehicle had ravelco still fully installed and bypassed at the plug because it’s repeatedly put out that it’s impossible to bypass thereCan try but in this case it wasn't installed by an approved installer. So there is a indemnity case to be made from their end. Not saying it was but for all anyone knows, the Ravelco was installed into the kick panel fuse box and subsequently ripped out (bypass) instead of buried into the harness (takes hours to install and even longer to remove a properly installed one out), and fully covered like its supposed to be. At worst, they are liable for the cost of the equipment, which wont even cover his deductible. its a 0 cause for win and no attorney is going to take this on a consignment.
Regardless of the quality of the product, if you get security. Use an authorized dealer.
Case in point why you also need a quality alarm system. Ravelco or IGLA at that, is not the end all be all and are post attempt protection and inhibitor devices, they are not deterrents.. They should ALWAYS be used with a compustar system. Its the difference between a thief proceeding or running away with the benefit of notifying you and addl ignition/started cutout protection while armed.
Without an alarm, your truck is like anyone elses that is unprotected upon first entry attempt.
