TRX Stollen Auburn Hills Mi with Ravelco Update theft ring uncovered

IGLA works or it doesn’t. There have been one or 2 that have went bad and would periodically let the vehicle start but were swapped out and all is well. If you cannot enter the pin and get it started then chances are that particular button in the sequence is not working and then you can use the IGLA fob in a pinch or use the emergency pin change card to get into pin change mode and make a new pin. Now ravelco and IGLA can be fine together. You will still not have remote start unless you keep the cap plugged in or remove the wiring to vehicle portion and leave the ravelco plug mounted as a decoy and never use the cap. More of a visual theft deterrent.

And if there is an issue the IGLA people fix it. Period. I had an issue and it was rectified ASAP. They work as a team.

Thats why there is a minimum allowed price of $1,200. Then we are not in competition with each other and work together 😉

f other makes and models that don’t have the same key protections mopars have. Toyota/lexus is done and will be more coming soon.
Im not understanding. What key protections are you referring to? Rfh lock?
At least Toyota gives you the ability to turn off the key fob signal. Love them for that. What a dropped ball not to do that by any car manufacturer.

one of the guys here will have to send it to you privately because it keeps getting taken down. Once you see how it works though you’ll feel pretty unprotected. Even an amateur with 15 mins and a multimeter could probably figure it out like they did in the donut video.
Can I get a link to videos as well?

Outstanding, looks like one option. Has anyone had any experience with them? I usually shy away from radio shops.

congratulations, what you did is educate the car thief community and hurt the consumers that have the Ravelco. All for your own gain. Before this video went out, has anyone had their truck stolen with the Ravelco in it? I don’t know of any, so anyone that gets their truck stolen going forward can thank u, or I guess they can just come to you to give you $1200.
Does anyone know if the guy’s TRX was jacked onto rollers and pulled up onto flatbed? Nah, Revelco won't protect against that. Does IGLA?

He posted a video earlier from the place he had it parked, and one angle showed his truck driving away on its own, they smashed a window, bypassed Ravelco somehow and drove off. No flatbeds involved.

Key protections as in you can’t delete or make a key like the rf hub lock on a mopar.

You can have no drivetrain, no wheels or a single wire in the whole vehicle, essentially a shell and still drag it onto a flatbed, not really understanding the question or logic? IGLA stops all forms of electronic theft on a mopar. Pushing, pulling and dragging is a manual act.

They install hundreds a year and 98% of what they do are full package installs.

So everyone liked Ravelco and now oh they are crap …. Is this guy a IGLA dealer?
Who is everyone? TRX is relatively new (2021) failures/theft started happening with Ravelco in our community and the Ravelco business is in denial and won't change their claims on the website, which means they are lying to us/you/customers. They don't seem to care. Just keep shipping out units.
