I’ll have to take a look at it. I hardwired mine though. I ran a small wire next to the mounting bracket that runs behind the dash and connects to a usb 12v converter that is connected directly to the fuse box with an add a fuse. I spent about $15 on parts from Amazon and took about 10 minutes to make the harness and another 15 or so to connect it. I didn’t want wires running down to the usb plugs or to the 12v outlet.Mines keep switching from blue to green. Their CS states that it has to be connected to 12v. Is this the case with yours?
Okay, I’m interested in seeing your setup if possible please. I would like to do the same if possible.I’ll have to take a look at it. I hardwired mine though. Any worries of that leaving the trim scratched up after coming off after a couple years? Watched the vid on how it attaches, curious on what you think. The Offroam phone mount finally showed up as available earlier this week so I ordered it. Just as nice, solid and unobtrusive as the one I had in my Tacoma. Airflow retains full functionality and it can be mounted to either passenger or driver side vents.

Some of them are capable of sitting up over the dash for video recording for Dragy runs etc. I’m sure there are other reasons.I’m curious, with Apple car play… why would you need a cellphone mount?
ThisSome of us don’t need a phone stuck up in our grill when driving. There‘s already enough going on when your behind the wheel.

Many use an app with their Radar Detector. Unfortunately Apple CarPlay doesn’t work with them.I’m curious, with Apple car play… why would you need a cellphone mount?
I went with the Bullet Point driver side only magnetic mount. It’s SOLID and gives me a great view of my phone screen and the truck’s screen is not affected. With only the driver side mount there’s still space for my key fob and I even use the receptacle up there for my radar detector.Anyone have any good ideas that fit good for a phone mount in a TRX? Links, pics?
I use my bullet point setup to stream videos and it works great. Spare me the blistering comments on watching video while drivingI went with the Bullet Point driver side only magnetic mount. I think a bigIt really depends on what you are going to use it for. If you just want to use a discrete phone mount that will trek through the pristine pavement of DFW, something like the Pro Clip would be good. I went with Bullet Point because I can swivel my phone to take vids and also mount my GoPro. It is big and bad ass, just like Texas

I think a big ass, overpowered truck... that very people actually need, deserves an overbuilt phone holder... that very people actually need. I ordered one a few days ago but if you have to pull the dash off to mount it, I don't really want to do that.... I also went with the magnet head because they are more convenient to me.It really depends on what you are going to use it for. I pulled the dash apart because I mounted a GPS antenna for a light bar that I added. The phone mount is two screws and take two minutes to install.I think a big
