Trx or challenger hellcat

Traded my Redeye for my TRX. Haven't looked back and dont miss it a bit. The hellcat is a different level of fast, but for something I can confidently drive any day and in any condition, the peace of mind with the RAM is unbeatable. Heavy traffic, hauling junk, people, AWD and offroading set it apart.

I have both a 2019 Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody and a 2023 Ram TRX. If I had to pick one I would go with the TRX. Love them both and don't have to pick so I am fortunate. Agree with the statements about the Redeye. It is next level fast, not much on the street that can get in front of you but the use case is very limited for the Challenger.

OK I'll bite. lol Which did you decide on?
Didn’t get it yet was gonna go new but found a used 21 with 15k miles but it’s a base model I have no idea about the trx used market. Idk if that’s good or not it’s going for 79k. What do you think?

I currently have a 2023 base TRX and a loaded 2016 Charger Hellcat. If I had to pick one, TRX all day long. The TRX has usable power (AWD). While the Charger is fun and gets a lot of attention, its just not practical for family trips and any type of weather events. TRX all the way.

Second high for a used base!

Had a 2019 HC RE WB, and it was a great car. Massive power that it could not effectively put to the ground, but that was half the fun of that car !!!!!!!!!!!!! Way more attention driving a Sublime Green HC RE WB with a black hood around town, but the TRX is far more useable and can be driven rain, snow or shine. TRX checks nearly all the boxes.

I went back and forth with the TRX v Super Stock (and this was when the S/S had power dollars so it was a little cheaper)
Ended up picking the TRX
For a year round daily, it can't be beat.

i had a couple hellcat challengers over last several years; and do miss the 3rd pedal fun...so the goal is to ulitmately have both!

I'd ditch the TRX long before getting rid of the Challenger.

That's largely because I like going fast (including through curves), and then there's no comparison between the two. Not only won't the TRX exceed 118 mph, it has questionable handling even at lower speeds.

If there was a lower version of the TRX, with a regular cab and a usable bed size, I might have to hesitate a bit before getting rid of it and keeping the Challenger.

👆 THIS

The only limitation on my Challenger; There are not enough open roads. Not easy to find spots where you can comfortably do 173.

yea, and even harder to find spots to do 186😅 luckily, the north of minnesota is perfect for boost weather right now with plenty open roads!

Looks like you're missing a Durango.

I happen to have one "left over" in case you want to have a more complete set. It has 18 miles on it, and the plastic still on the seats, steering wheel, etc. It's a white Plus model.

If i do I'd pick a used Trackhawk over the Durango , not a Durango fan

Yeah, I'm not so sure I like them, either, being even heavier than the Trackhawk. Sold a '20 'Hawk with a bit over 1,000 miles on it, largely because its weight took a toll on performance. And predictably so.

Yep, I'm a slow learner.

The HellRango is one of my favorite vehicles. If I had the money I’d have one of those with the TRX.

It'll likely be for sale in about a month. Go have a talk with your bank.
