After having the TRX for 7 months I finally had a chance to drive it in some snow this morning! We only got 4 inches but it was enough to get me excited to go play in it. Unfortunately I quickly learned that this big girl needs a lot more than 4 inches to have fun🤪 She handled driving through every street I could find that was still covered like it never snowed at all. Crossing my fingers that we get a good snow storm soon here is south east PA so I can really enjoy this thing!

Mine recently got to experience a little bit of snow. Only about 1/2” however that 1/2” of snow was on top of 1/4” ice….so that made things a little bit more interesting. Although the beast handles it with ease. No problems what so ever. In fact I think the TRX handles my icy/snowy country roads 10x better than the Raptor did.

Had about 10 inches here this morning before I ran out for Dunks around 8. Roads were slippery because of the frequent plows passing by. Never down to bare pavement. I swear they just make things worse. Put truck in snow mode. Thing drove like a champ.

Sounds like better winter tires now vs then ?

We had 6" here yesterday, and all I could do was stare longingly at the Challenger and wish my TRX was in her place!

Yeah ice will definitely be the next challenge! Good to know they handle better than the Raptors!!

Had about 3' up here over the last month, its melted, frozen, iced up and snowed again, last night drove 400 miles in ice rain, sleet, snow and black ice basically the works, even with stock tires at 65 - 70mph in 1 - 2" of uncleared freeway this thing felt locked to the ground! So far Im finding it is so much fun in the snow and you always feel in control even when you start to play and drift the corners... so much better than my previous rebel and ford.

Has anyone found the need to put full winter tires on theirs and if so which ones did you go with?

Tonight they are calling for 8 to 17" snow and -24 F....Tomorrow will be a play day in the snow..(y)

Probably. But between mud flaps and actual mud, I’ll take the latter.
I thought the same thing for the first few months. I have a -12 offset and I would plaster my doors and bed with crap. Even after I finally took the plunge and got the weather tech flaps, I still had a hard time putting them on. Now, I wish I would have done it sooner and think the truck should have came with them. I did a complete 180. 🤷‍♂️:ROFLMAO:

My hips still collect a little slush with the WeatherTechs, but nowhere near like that.

When I first put them on, I took them off a day or two later. I’ve since come to like them. More or less. They are the least ugly option.
