TRX ate my RAPTOR!

Hi, I’m a newly christened TRX owner and as the subject goes I traded my 17 Raptor in for it! I signed my PO yesterday and took delivery today! Luck of the draw my truck arrived a week early! Glad to be a part of the group.

I owned 5 car dealerships. Was in the business 30 years. Dodge Chrysler Ram whatever you want to call it always had decent engine and power trains. They just struggled with their bodies and interiors. Have always been a truck guy probably owned 100s of them. Had the first Raptor in Utah. Loved it enough when I retired I bought another 2017 when they came back out. Thought it was the truck of trucks. Til I drove the TRX. Love the ride the body and the interior design. They kicked Fords ass!!
The Hellcat 702 hp is just icing on the cake

Nothing as of yet. Possibly some Wheel/tire upgrades. Ceramic coating. Let the new car smell/feel pass... then it’s play time.

As with any new purchase... I LOVE IT. Not launching yet... just enjoying the first 100 miles. From what I’m reading (don’t quote me) there is a potential that the hellcat may be replaced in the 22.... do some research.
Also, it’s 6300 pounds... puts us lucky NYers with a commercial plate and no parkways!

This makes me feel much better! I had a 2013 Raptor, added a Roush supercharger which put it at 650 HP, then a tune. Had a car trailer to pull which didn't work well with the Raptor, so I moved to a 2018 F-150 Platinum. Pulls fine, but zero excitement. My TRX is in the build process and I can't wait to get it!

i run commercial because i been swapping plates to new trucks every 5 months lol. But im keeping the trx

I loved my Raptor. Wasn’t really a choice to trade it, I potentially was going to dump an additional 2500-5k rebuild shocks and custom brakes and put on 5-10k miles (work trip)... I’d loose 10k equity with the additional mileage. I got a dealer to give me 55k on a trade and worked a decent price out on the TRX. The TRX is just a sweet ride honestly. I’ve driven Rams for work, so I’m not stranger, but nothing compares to the interior and feel of this truck.
As it stands TRX over the Raptor all day... now when the 21 and 22 Raptor and type Rs hit the market we can talk again LOL.
