TRX and adding Wrangler

For any of you guys / gals that own or are in the market for a Rubicon 392 check out our sister forum:

Loved that forum. Helped me pick out my first Jeep- 2024 392 in Earl. A good stable mate to the TRX.
Then I was booted for reasons I still don’t understand. Would you be so kind to let me back in? Thanks!

The Wrangler is one of those vehicles that always bums me out. I love the idea of the 392. I’m just too damn tall to fit in the Wrangler. Maybe a Bronco some day, I fit in those comfortably. Won’t be the same as a 392, but not a bad option.

I’m okay at 6’ but if I was 6’4”+ it would be a nightmare.

I’m just over 6’. Dead pedal and seat jackers are a must.
Honestly, I really like that the left foot space is open and doesn't have a dead pedal. I use that space to stretch out my left leg while driving, don't know if I'd have made it to FL and back in the 392 with a dead pedal there. 🍻

Ah yea I get it. My first long trip my left leg was kinda just sitting on the floorboard awkwardly and killed my ankle. The one I have is all the way back but just a hard surface for it to sit on at the right angle. But yea it can go both ways.

You can order them at the usual big volume dealerships you see on here at a decent discount. On lots, it's difficult to get much better than MSRP.

I considered trading in the TRX on a 392 a couple of months ago until I drove one. It was nice but just can't compare to a TRX. I ended up just adding a Rubicon X on 35s to the stable.

I still kinda want a 392 so we will see what happens in the future. The Rubicon is so much better on trails than the TRX

Lmao. In the Jeep I actually prefer manual seats.
While the 24 has motorized seats, it still doesn't have memory, a total deal killer for me to trade the 22 for a 24 as the only reason to have the electric seats would be so I can hit a button to get my seat settings and hit the other one to set it back to my wife's settings. Also the red seats... 🤮

We have an X not a 392 so black seats. The X is the only Rubicon package besides the 392 that has leather seats now and you have to get power seats with that package.

I hear you on seat memory. My TRX doesn't have it and it drives me crazy. I think in over a year of ownership, I got it set 1 time to where it was perfect and my wife changed it a couple of days later.

I want to get a 392 before they go the way of the TRX.

Granger has a 2023 red 392 on the lot right now showing a $8100 discount -

I’d say grab them while you can. They are easier to move in and out of parking lots and it keeps mileage of the TRX. And the sound is just nasty. It freaks people the hell out when they hear that noise coming out of a Jeep.

Yea stupid imo. Really only useful for service or something, I’ve come to appreciate the memory feature, after a slew of cars prior that didn’t have it,

The TRX was the first vehicle I have had in years that didn't have memory seats. Are they on level 2?

@Billhartz at Mark Dodge we are doing discounts based on MSRP as follows
MSRP under $95K = $7K dealer discount
MSRP over $95K = $7500 dealer discount
Additional 1% off our MARK DODGE PRICE if you have affiliate (you can sign up around time of order)
No requirement to finance, our fees are $425 Doc Fee and $4 temp tags
We can do your TTL in all 50 states, and either pick you up at the airport (250 mile radius) or coordinate transport for you (no fee/markup on that either)

392s on the lot anywhere are going to be rare, mostly customer backouts.
Gas wranglers in general are going to be increasingly rare, as they have been unable to order for dealer stock since mid-summer, and continue as such.
