Truck Cap for 27, opinion on Fuel Economy (lol) change

Hello all.
I have a new 27 TRX that Im contemplating putting a truck cap on, like the leer sport truck or similar.
Anyone ran with one on a TRX or RHO, how did it impact the fuel economy? better or worse?

Aerodynamically it's not going to make a difference. The added weight might hurt city MPG a little bit.

You might stop by the local senior center. Those guys will be your best source of info on truck caps.

The initial difference in MPG was barely noticeable. I only saw a significant change after switching to 37-inch Ridge Grapplers on beadlock wheels.

Currently have A.R.E CX Revo bed cap with all the bells and whistles. Even relocated the cam to the truck cap.
