Trailer-Tow Group & Towing Technology Group

I’m planning to pick up a 2027 TRX. I’m trying to understand these trailer groups. Do I actually want/ need them?

1. Does the 2027 TRX come standard with the trailer break controller? It does not appear on any window stickers I’ve seen, but the class IV hitch is on every sticker.

2. To get the TOW MIRRORS, it’s adds the TRAILER-TOW GROUP. That is the trailer reverse knob. Does it work? Is it worth losing 2 aux stitches? I’ve been backing a trailer for as long as I can remember and don’t have any issues. Will this knob change anyone’s life?

3. We also have the option for the TOWING TECHNOLOGY GROUP, which adds trailer hitch line up assist and trailer reverse guide. I assume these are on screen guides?

Any guidance would be appreciated!

No the knob is not life changing, if you know how to back a trailer up, it’s something fun to use once but then I end up just backing it up without it.

I had a Raptor with the little towing knob and it’s worthless. It reacted slow and made things harder.

I have the tow group on my 2021, and the trailer light check is pretty helpful when you’re by yourself. I’ve never used the TPMS sensors on the boat trailer, but I guess it could be handy. The trailer hitch lineup is handy too.

I’m sure I will end up hooking onto something with it. Probably like the side x side. Or something light. But I do want to have the trailer break controller if posible. If i need to pull a pice of equipment, I will grab the diesel and gooseneck.

Trailer brake controller came with level 2 back in the day, is that not the case anymore?

We pull a 6x12 dirt bike trailer without issue. I didn’t get any special trailer package.
