Just to give you guys my input on towing with my TRX. I debated quite a while before buying this truck because I’ve only ran 3500 1 ton Duallys. So I have a 2400 pound aluminum enclosed 21 foot trailer and hauled a 3000 pound car on a frame positioning rack to the Carlisle Mopar nationals this weekend. This truck has every bit of torque that My Cummins had, no issues there whatsoever. The suspension of course is much much softer so I do use a distribution hitch; weigh safe style. The TRX performed flawlessly, gas mileage was of course not great but I did not drive it easy.. I Hauled down and back at approximately 80-85 miles an hour with zero sway!

On a sidenote I expected to see at least 20 to 25 TRXs at the Mopar nationals considering they were 3100 cars there. I am still blown away how many people do not even know what this truck is even at a Mopar car show. I kind a like the incognito aspect of having this truck. With the loud colored, large engine cars that were usually dealing with that’s a refreshing change! The truck got gobs of attention in our restoration tent. Very surprised!

Ohhh. There were only three I saw at the show and swap meet area.

A guy who brings his own tent to park in.....SWEET !!!!!!!!!!

We are running nearly the exact same setup. I've got a 20' Alcom EZ Hauler. It's very good without a WD hitch when empty but get over 3K pounds behind the truck and you want the WD hitch. I just installed a WeighSafe as well.

Lol. A Company sets up the tent for our restoration shop and we only had one car to bring this year. Worked well parking under cover though.
