Has anyone installed this yet? Looking for a third party opinion. Specifically in ease of removal/installation. I’d like the option to add these on only when I’m occasionally towing.

I emailed the owner and here’s what he shared:
I had asked-
Can they be installed/removed without a lift, how many had been shipped out, and what his lead time was.

“Thank you for the interest! Yes, they can be removed while on the ground. Drivers side is a bit tough due to the fuel tank, but is doable. I do not have a video. My test truck was sold the day I finished production test fitting, I had zero time to film. As of today there's four kits around the country, I only released mid last week. Two customers installed last weekend and had great things to say. That made me happy since I've been working on the TRX for months. As of this moment I have three kits in stock, but two were sold this afternoon. It'll take a week or two for new stock from my laser people. If you need additional information, please feel free to contact me any time.”

I’ve dealt with Steve at Timber Grove twice, once for a custom setup on a 1500 I had lifted and a power wagon. He’s a great guy and knows his stuff. They are installs on the garage floor, not something I’d want to take on and off a lot, but doable. I’d like to see if it limits the suspension at all (limit articulation). If not bad I may do this as this thing sags pretty bad with minimal weight (600 lbs of snowmobile).

I actually hit 1500 miles on my 22 TRX yesterday. I towed our camper that weighs 7300 lbs 15 miles from a camp site my wife stayed at this past weekend to our friends place for storage. I did notice that the rear end seemed to squat a bit more than my Raptor I sold in December 2021. At that time I bought the Raptor in 2019 I thought about getting Timbren bump stops and not the air bags types like Timber Grove designed. not sure what I will do ...

Installed the Timber Grove airbags and brackets today. Not finished yet, but the kit is great. It was package very well and all parts packaged separately. The instructions are accurate. I did talk to Steve (on a Saturday!) for some clarification but he talked me through it. Once I get it finished, I'll post up some pictures. By the way, I measured the hitch chain loop before and after, with no air, and it was the same, 21".

I think it's doable with 2 9/16" wrenches and a lift or floor jack/supports. I have a 2 post lift but I still had to set the truck down on the tires to adjust brackets. It tight on drivers side but they fit. Here are some more pictures.

Manual. They are not plumbed yet. They supply the air lines, Schrader valve and PTC Tee. Oh and zip ties.

So I finally had time to install this kit. Before I installed it, the chain loop on factory hitch (rims and tires) was 21" to the ground. After installation AND no air in the bags, it was the same, 21".
I inflated to 6 psi which raise it about an inch to 22". I hooked up my boat trailer with about 200 pound tongue weight and the truck dropped about a 0.5". Unhooked boat trailer and went for a ride with 6psi in air bags. I stepped on the gas hard (as always), launched the truck and to my surprise, the torque steer was not noticeable to me. Makes sense. Repeated a few times, because why not!
So now I should be able to do light/medium duty towing without a saggy ass. I have a 2500 Diesel for my HD towing but the TRX is such a fun truck to drive, why not tow with it too.
So if you think you will be towing with your TRX, I recommend this kit from Steve at Timber Grove. Has all parts needed to install.

Yeah. I wondered about that. I use an Andersen WDH - works great. Sometimes it seems that air assist might be a nice addition to the Andersen, but after seeing the video, maybe not.

How long would you say that it took to install

Start to finish is about 4 hours. I dropped the spare to route the air line to the rear.

No doubt, that's why I have a 2500 Ram diesel with a 14k 21' flatbed and WDH. But for a boat like mine (19' BW) or a 16' medium cargo trailer, this will work for me.
