Hey NOW,

I purchased Foutz tie rod assembly, installed and they contacted the lower spring perch on stock shocks. I had ordered King's shocks and was hoping that with that shock they would clear at close to full and at full lock.......Well, they don't :cautious:

I know someone has installed the Kibbetech tie rod assemblies with King shocks....Do they interfere?? I will re-install the factory tie-rod assemblies if I have to.

Cheers,

i have foutz full tie rods with stock shocks. zero interference. call FMI tomorrow and find out what went wrong.

like @nickinfleet i have the full foutz kit and stock shocks. great upgrade, no issues.

Driving home I did my best to stay outta tight turns but did get the new shock springs 🤦‍♂️ kibbetech’s look to be tapered, but $1600 to find out isn’t logical.

I’ve got the kibbetech kit sitting in my garage. I haven’t had time to install it yet but when I spoke with Kibbetech as well as MZ Offroad they both said the same thing “for some reason some TRX’s have this problem while others don’t”.

I think it’s install procedure + alignment. These tie rods can be installed incorrectly and seem like everything is ok. Some way they bolt up on the inside of the steering rack can be done incorrectly.

Alright thanks for the insight, I’ll keep you posted but it’s going to be a minute before I get them done. Waiting on some stuff to come in still.
