@Air’d outSRT - this might be a good time to re-explain the start-PIN sequence. You explained it when you installed mine, but I don’t think I caught all the nuances.
I usually get in, step on the brake, hit start, and enter my pin after the engine is started.
But you mentioned that you can also do a different sequence, and I don’t remember exactly what it was.
Reason I ask, is I had the same thing happen a few days ago. I used remote start. Got in, put my foot on the brake, and the engine turned off. I was in a rush so I just restarted and did the usual routine.
If the engine is started prior to touching the brake, does the pin have to be entered before touching the brake as well?
