Hey all

So you know the Oracle light bar after installation can slide forward slightly if it loosens and obscure just a small part of your front camera. This caused a thin black line in the front of the 360 camera.

I readjusted it back and reseated it and it went away. I’ve added the before and after pics here

My advice, push it as far toward the grill as you can before drilling

Sort of like the instructions tell you to do?
That’s exactly what I did. But what I’m suggesting is pushing really hard.

Just a heads up with the “push it really hard” advice. The housing on my Oracle light bar cracked on both sides after about 10 months. When I went to pursue a warranty claim with Oracle, they refused the defect and blamed the user. They specifically told me that I had put too much tension on the housing when mounting it - despite me following their directions perfectly.

They were happy to sell me a new housing - great that they have parts on the ready! - but it was a $60 purchase that really should be been warranteed.

Just be mindful that stressing the light bar almost certainly WILL cause failure. I didn’t apply much tension at all and mine still failed. :(

Wow

And yet if you don’t push hard it will cover the camera! Doh! Ah well.
