$109,000 question is….. do the UConnect Drive Modes work and can you adjust the Custom mode settings?????

Yes they do and yes I can. Why? Is that a problem for some people? I was able to do the same thing in my 2022....

On your 2022 - You must have either turned your Uconnect OTA updates off over two years ago, or 2) removed your telematics box completely. Because this hasn’t been the case for 2022-2024 TRX owners since April 2025 when Stellantis pushed a Uconnect update that nuked everyone’s drive modes, changed all their graphics to RHO and lost one page of the Performance Pages. Ram and Ram Cares has told everyone there is basically no fix and we are SOL.

But, pretty sure I’ve seen you on that thread so it must have slipped your mind. If you don’t have any of these issues with your 2022, that truck may be one of the only 1st Gen’s left with Uconnect5 that actually works.

Of course, the UConnect drive modes and everything else works perfectly in the 2027. It’s the same system as the older trucks, but Ram refuses to send an update to fix ours… because they don’t really give a shit I guess.

I remember when it was first reported that the software update screwed up our ability to customize drive modes. At that point I really didn't care because I set mine up shortly after I got my truck, so I didn't even try to customize my drive modes after the update. After reading more complaints about this issue, I was curious to see if I could customize mine. To my surprise, it worked.

At one point I had all of the issues that you listed above. As of now, I only have one glitch that's unresolved and that's when I select a drive mode, it immediately indicates that I'm in Auto on the big screen.
