Realistically you don’t want it back, I would much rather just have insurance do a full payout than I get back a molested truck.

Other than putting out a bolo what else can they do? Vehicle is stolen, they have no way of tracking it. If it pops up on a cruisers plate reader or a patrol sees the truck and remembers the bolo, then yeah they will probably light him up and attempt to pull over/chase if policy allows.

It’s a property crime that has already occurred, as much as I would love to have these pos get taken down, I think people over estimate what law enforcement tools exist for a situation like this.

Sorry it happened to you. Have you done Stellantis dealer recall that blocks any new keys added to the truck? Hopefully insurance makes you whole...

EDIT: I see your car was for sale all the way back in January? Have you had any buyers test drive it or take a look at it? if yes, this is when they couldve marked you and easily get a cloned key on it

Dealer rf hub lock is almost useless

Start catching them chaining them to the bumper and dragging them down the highway the bullshit stops when theives get what they deserve!
