Stealth Blacked Out - Lago TRX Build

I went the spray can route for tint (VHT) and, yes, did myself. I have done tint film before on various cars (pretty much blackout most of the cars I have owned) and the gloss never matches the paint. It usually fades over time too.

The key is don’t go too dark that light emission is reduced (I do one light base coat and then one heavy full coat with the tint), and then use a high quality automotive clear coat on top (2k clear works well). The two part clear coat will harden enough that if the finish on the clear has any orange peel you can wet sand and buff to a mirror finish. Gloss matches the rest of the paint and won’t fade. Been a while since I got my truck and posted on here. Figured it was time to make a thread so I can keep track of the way the truck evolves. I probably should have done this a while back since she has definitely transformed mostly appearance wise. I'd like to say she's done (as I am looking up new wheels lol) until I decide to bump up the performance. You can obviously see the difference in photo quality from the photos other people took then the ones I did from my phone lol

yeah the guy who did the ppf said the same. He said he has a guy who paints taillights and showed me some pics it looked good so may go that route.

thanks for the support! Tazer hasn't given me any issues at all just installed it and changed the settings to amber and no problems. Only thing i noticed recently when I went to get my inspection done is when you put on the hazards the front lights dont blink only the back do. But its weird cause they blink when you put on a turn signal but I'm sure that's cause of the tazer so keep that in mind if inspection is strict by you.

Nice build. I have my black TRX stealthed as well. I've been wanting to black out the badges like yours. Did you consider black chrome instead of straight black just for a splash of difference?

I love the corsa I went with the full cat back system it's louder cold start, sounds same as stock cruising and at WOT is a loud beast! no complaints

Do you know if the exhaust replacement voids the factory warranty?

Yea, it’s a flaw that Tazer has. Hopefully they can get it fixed soon.

Nope... tons of holes, and gate is aluminum, so not cheap to get filled.

I was referring to the small TRX logo on left side of tailgate, not the big RAM logo. I know that the big RAM logo has holes into the tailgate. Would probably remove 4X4 emblem if TRX logo is removed.

Heat it and use a nylon ribbon type to floss behind it after you heat and it will come off. There’s a lot of videos on YouTube on how to do it.
