Hello, all.
I have completed testing of my SRT emblem on my '22 TRX. Tests included high speed (max @ 118), rough terrain, hard turns, hard stops, rain, pressure washer, and Texas heat. The emblem didn't fall off once so my clip design held on as designed. The current test emblem is printed in PETG which exhibits good UV resistance, making it suitable for moderate outdoor use, though it may degrade faster than ASA under constant sunlight. If your TRX is garaged like mine, PETG will work well. If yours spends a lot of time in direct sunlight then I can print it with ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) which is widely considered the most UV-resistant filament for 3D printing, offering superior stability against sunlight, weathering, and yellowing compared to other common materials.
Below is a picture of my black and white emblem on my truck. The lighting is not great in the garage so the white doesn't stand out like it does outdoors. The screenshot is just of the rear of the emblem model to show the clip design which as you can see is very robust.
If any of you are interested in the emblem, let me know. The background and letters can be different colors if you wish but standard is black background with letters to match (or closely match) your truck's color. Material type depends on your use. As I said before, PETG is great if your truck is not parked outside all the time with the sun blasting at the grill. ASA is great if it is parked outside all the time.
I'll take a better picture of my emblem in outdoor light soon.
