Spacers on factory wheels

I'm going to do the 1" that's perfect in my book.

Cutting the studs a little is no big deal they're longer than they need to be anyway. lots of things will break before you strip off 7/8" of threads on 6 wheel studs.

Okay I’m leaning towards the 1.25

I have been looking at different rims, offsets, adding Bora spacers or not, etc... This is some of the information I have using a factory all black (not the beadlock) rim

The front and rear studs are the same length. Rims are all identical. The studs are a total of 1 9/16" long but only 1 3/8" of actual thread than the last 3/16" is a thinner section.

Factory rims have pockets in the back of them. If you use a 1" spacer (or up to 1 1/2") you can put the excess stud into the pocket. It looks to be a good 1/2" deep but this I have not fully measured. I am also not sure if each rim would be the same.

I am not too comfortable cutting the stud but I would be ok with cutting part of the 3/16" end. My recommendation would be to put a nut on the stud and just let the 3/16" stick out. Grind off that little bIt. The nut is there so you do not grind any real thread.

If you have aftermarket rims they may not have those pockets in the back so the studs should not exceed the spacer.

Im telling you if you use a 1” spacer on factory wheels, regardless of the pockets, you will need to cut the studs to make them fit.

I have the upgraded factory wheels (beadlock style) I can’t speak for the black standard wheels.

Well that makes me happy then bc I changed my bora order from 1.25 to 1.5. I do not want to cut anything. Hopefully not too much for my liking. Looked like -19mm after that. I really wanted to be at -12 but whatever. I’m just going if this pic which is borderline IMO.

I agree 1.5 sounds like the best way to go. I don’t want to trim or cut anything off the studs just in case I change to aftermarket wheels in the future. I don’t want any issues.

Looks to be a 1” and a half outside the fender.

Bora is the only way to go.

Today I installed some 2 inch spacers on my Ram trx, I really like the factory wheels but I also like the after market wheels with negative offset. So for now just to see how it looked I added the spacers, I think I’ll have this look a couple of months. I really like how it looks. The front seem to stick out more than the rear to the naked eye but I have to actually measure to be sure.
That setup looks 👍

Where do you guys order these from?

I have been doing some research because I want to change out the wheels with ones that move the tire out to the edge of the fender flair
and my Weathertech mud flaps. It's about 3/4 of an inch to move the tread out even with them, the sidewall sticks out a little bit farther.
The stock rims are +19 and if you go with a +1 or 0 its between .71 inches for +1 and .75 inches for 0. hope that helps you.

If I run a bigger brake kit can I use the 1.5in bora spacer to run stock wheels in the winter?
