On the left a brand new CV. On the right, you will see a CV with only 500 miles on it. I’m trying to figure out whether it’s damaged or if it’s supposed to be punctured like it is…

I don't think i can recall ever seeing a CV with an exposed/ open end like that? That can't be right, it'd cause grease to work its way out and water/ debris to get in there.
