Wow that is crazy.... are those white scratches just on the clear coat or down to the paint? Thanks for your knowledge as it definitely helps me make a much better educated decision. Cheers

Just realized what you were asking @Caliche. Those aren’t scratches, those white marks are from a grease pen to mark the areas they want to polish prior to the ceramic coating.

Took a drive yesterday with the wife to see a relative, not far but 220 miles....I freakin LOVE this truck!

Between my dealers inspection & mine, the only things found:
1) The right exhaust tip is about an inch lower than the left which I will either fix myself or at first service.
2) When my detailer (Detailing Dynamics, Mineola NY, imo one of the best in the business) did the XPEL Fusion Plus Ceramic Coating he pointed out to me a couple light micro scratched areas that needed to be polished out before the ceramic coating was applied but they weren’t that bad, I’ve seen much worse on brand new vehicles.. But looks incredible now, I washed it yesterday & the ceramic coating makes that an easier job.

Had I walked away when I was getting frustrated with the delay & communication, it would have been a HUGE mistake. Couldn‘t be happier right now, it was worth the wait!

Hey Stradale, Your Truck looks great and I am trying to do the same thing! I Just received my girl this week and I told the Dealership not to touch her or detail her at all. I just need to find a good detailer in the area to do everything I need and sooner then later! I see your from New York? I'm located in Jersey! If you can DM me or just respond to me about what detailer you used that would be much appreciated! Or if you know of a Good and Trusted detailer in New Jersey? I'm in Ocean County NJ! Got a place in Brick NJ and South Toms River that the guys seem to trust around here but I'm willing to drive to New York if necessary and recommended. Let me know what you think? Thanks

Thanks STRADALE, I talked to Matt at Detailingdynamics and he was super nice. Ends up his daughter is a teacher in my town! I'm trying to decide weather to do the PPF in the High Impact Areas? I need to talk to Eddie about how much that might cost? I may not be able to really afford the PPF right now after dropping major coin on my TRX Purchase but I'm assuming if I would need to decide that before I get the Ceramic coating because after that it will be to late to add it afterwards?

With the Ceramic coating did you do the Whole Body, Windows and Wheels? or Just the whole body?

Also did you end up tinting your front windows to match the back?

WOW! Very stoked, this trx spec matches my 22 in D status (NN171xxx) minus decals, add Rambar. Options are categorized a bit differently, but looking at my future TRX!
