SOLD: GT Haus Catted Down Pipes

Any tuning required for these to prevent check engine lights?

Like new GT Haus down pipes with EPA compliant 400cpsi cats. I bought this new, installed it and took it off the next day and maybe 30-40 miles later because of how loud the start ups were (I live next to the HOA witch lol). I personally love the sound and don't mind the volume, but while I've been waiting to install a pair of valved mufflers on the Borla system, I decided I want to run long tubes instead. I bought these for $2K. Picture of the pipes on the truck were taken right before I removed them and how they currently look - with the perfect amount of heat patina.

$1,700 picked up in Beaverton, OR.
I have the Borla atak as well and have had my eye on these cats. Borla is already loud, so interested in your thoughts on how these changed the sound. If I spend this kind of money I want the increase in sound to be worth it.

Same sound but noticeably louder. Too loud by typical HOA standards but a symphony for the car guy who enjoys their roaring V8.

Its amazing how these pipes make a big difference , i had the JBA on my Scat Pack and it sounded like input a full exhaust on it. I've been thinking what it would sound on the TRX but I already have the MBRP on it.

Anybody know the answer for sure ?? Does it eliminate all the squeaking noises ? LOVE to be rid of that crap on cold starts etc

99% sure it will not,, years ago while looking for a remedy I found a video of a TRX that had no cats and it still made the chirp, after seeing this I gave up.
My chirp quiets down if I turn off the AC, it's almost like the slightest load on the engine creates it.. so annoying!!

love mine ! I was afraid of the sound, not loudness but sounding like a ricer or clapped out chevy it does not , it sounds so good ! throaty and deep paired with a gt haus valved exhaust the best combo I can make it loud or quieter than stock ........ also the chirps or crickets let me explain my truck I never idle much I start it and let warm up a few minutes then slowly drive it to warm up.... then I drive like I stole it ! I do hear it but mine are so faint I don't notice, other peoples are louder on idle why idk I think its the heat cycling of the cats if yours sounds loud on idle or annoying go drive your truck on the highway for a while and do some hard pulls 3rd to 5 redline a few times wide open should clean and heat the cats up too make then smell hot then drive normal for a fews to cool them down come to a stop and listen on idle if there's a difference, should be so Faint on a cold start its there but once its warms up its quiet again .....my 2 cents take it grain of Salt I can't post video since my files are way to big other wise I would

Agreed on the sound. And like any other exhaust I’ve heard, not loud at all in cabin unless you have the windows open and get on it. Now someone buy these. Lol

So as I see it now the stock cats and exhaust have nothing to do with the crickets, as if you go to headers and open exhaust you still get the same sounds ? Interesting mopar says its the cats etc. Surely the GT haus or headers and no cats would change the sound or remove it ?
