I want to replace my rubber Brake and Accelerator pedal's with a Stainless Pedal kit on my 2021 TRX.
Every TRX after the 2021 models have a Stainless brake and accelerator pedal. I want to replace mine but I'm having some conflicting issues.
I looked it up and found a kit that originally replaces the Dodge Durango's pedal (Mopar #82212055 for $235), but when I called the dealer to confirm it would fit with my truck and Vin #, they said that it might not fit our 2021's? and that he couldn't guarantee it.
So he gave me another Part number, (Mopar # 68457699AC for $550), but that seems to be a part that replaces the whole arm and everything(all one unit) where labor cost and everything would be involved. and I don't want to do that! I just want a new cover.
I found a alternative. It's a part number originally for a Jeep Wagoneer (Mopar 82216053AB $120 to $150) . And I heard that some 2021 TRX owners were successful in using that part on their trucks which is only around $120 to $150 and it takes 20 minutes to install.
Has anyone had any experience with this issue and if so what was the solution? Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks in advance.
