Remove front tow hooks on 2027 TRX

Has anyone removed the front tow hooks on a 2027 TRX yet? I don't like the faded look of the red powder coated tow hooks.. took off the rear hooks and powder coated them gloss red.... looks so much better.... now I want to do the front but so far not having any luck getting them removed... they are loose.... bolts are out... just no way to get them out... they hit something no matter which way i go... looking to see if anyone else has tried this yet... Thanks

Gen1s had a bushing on the far bolt mount that you needed to pull with good force to remove, could be something similar?

Yeah… I have the bushing removed… no matter which way I try to turn it the tow hook will not come out… tomorrow I guess I will try to loosen things around it… not sure what else to even try

I have all the bolts out… the tow hook is completely loose… the issue is that no matter how you move it… there is not enough room to get it out… no matter where you move it… it hits something

The other option and shortcut would be a set of Amazon red tow hook covers. Just refresh them on occasion when UV faded.
