Recon tail light install on a TRX

Yes, they did that both times I've ordered. I got a FedEx notice within hours.

It's still showing "IN STOCK" on their website.

Pretty rediculous. That would put these parts out of stock for 150+ days if they hit Recon's shelves on August 17th (2nd week in August). How does a company advertise and RUN SALES and lie about stock on their website with NO stock? How is that reputible when paying almost $900 for a vanity truck part? Wild.

Same! Glad that is over. Haha! They are nice tho. Well built (made in Taiwan) and fit perfectly. The metal bracket that holds the BLiS unit was really corroded so I cleaned that up and lubricated the seal a little bit so it would be water-tight. Much better look over stock IMO. The unlock light show sequence is cool too.

So I installed mine and started getting this light. Probably 2-3 drives in and now it comes on everytime i drive once im a bit 2-3 min into the drive. This is definitely triggered by sensors in the lights

Ideas?

Maybe unhook the battery for a reset......I have had 2 different sets of these taillights (one smoked and one clear). The first set (clear ones) occasionally set off the light in the same way for some reason. I switched to the smoked ones and never did it again.....using the same sensors.....the only thing I could assume is that disconnecting them and reconnecting them again had some affect (no idea for sure) but it is aggravating to get the trailer warning light.

I actually totally uninstalled and reinstalled them and it has not come on for all day today with multiple drives. Who knows

Well, after 6 weeks of waiting I'm being told another 3 weeks until the lights are restocked. Recon continually deletes my comments on Facebook about the delays for an "In Stock" item.
