Just a observation I have seen while doing PDI's on these trucks, the rear axle vent tube is just barely higher than the top of the rear axle. I understand if people aren't planning on going through outrageously deep water while off roading but even just the normal task of backing a boat in to the lake at a boat ramp could possibly depending on how steep or not your boat ramp is get water well to the rear axle, it definitely wouldn't be hard to buy some bulk hose and extend the rear axle vent tube up higher behind the rear tail lights to prevent any of water intrusion while off road or at a boat ramp.

That's a 1-way check valve on the end of the hose, so water can't get in, even when submerged (in theory)

how many inches off the ground? i did lots of deep water, i doubt i broke the valve, dodge just refused to cover
