Purchasing in VA registering in CO?

Anything I need to know about buying from Koons but having the truck registered in CO? I bought my Raptor in Ohio and the dealer had everything done correctly, plating and registering in CO was seamless.

I feel like I read somewhere that there were some issues people encountered when registering in their home state and purchasing from Koons but can’t seem to find those threads again.

We did Iowa to Colorado, other than having to get the truck weighed and do a vin verification. All the rest was normal dmv paperwork.

I was told from my sales guy that I had to get it weighed and get the info back to the dealership before I registered it. I actually forgot all about it and went to the DMV and got it registered without any issues. Might have just gotten lucky since the lady I dealt with at the DMV was the one who did my title work and mentioned it specifically...?

I guess I'll find out. I was pretty reluctant to let Dan Cummins do mine, but working nights I don't have the patience to deal with the DMV in FoCo. Hopefully there isn't too many hoops to jump through Colorado keeps getting shittier.
