So Zach's post shows Stellantis does do it like Ford. my Ford dealer didn't want to wait on the refund so they made me fund it, I assume a Ram dealer could do the same if they chose to. either way if you get it back it's okay, but dealers like Granger make it clean and simple.
So if I ordered through a dealer that's not clear on price protection I'd get it hammered out before it arrives. there is a limited amount of time after delivery to file for the refund and if you have to poke them to get moving have it figured out. maybe you'll have to pay it and get refunded when they do in order to get it. or if they're going to screw you out of it you may as well find that out too.
