Paragoptics RGB Kit

It is a very good product. When the wait is over and you get your kit you will see that they took the time to put out a quality product. The wait sucks but hopefully it will ship to all of you soon. Almost mine are still going strong with no issues.
Can you share some details about the kit. What does the controller look like? How does it work with the factory dimmer? Was there any cutting or Drilling required? Do the boards require their own wiring like the Oracle kit?

This is the red kit, recieved in two weeks. I was able to negotiate the overhead console light to be thrown in for free. Very nice quality kit like everyone is saying. The package comes with a QR code with detailed PDF instructions and a link to a video you can find on YouTube.

My main issue was the the overhead console light. Literally no instructions and never got a reply for help. I figured it out if anyone needs help just an FYI this led install is a little more involved with tapping wiring harness wires and opening the overhead control module. If anyone needs help I can walk you through it.

Just get your refund and buy an Oracle from the guys here, I’m pretty sure they have it in stock.

Was debating the oracle kit but just not a fan of cutting and trimming the housings. Will get a refund and see what Paragoptics comes out with then decide which one I’ll go with. I can suffer with the stock lights for a bit longer lol. The oracle does look great though!

I see if I plug in 2021 it says out of stock but 2022 says add to cart.

@Jakerx might‘ve nailed it. First thing I thought was this sounds weird. Maybe nothing else is amiss but that letter lays it on quite heavy….hopefully they get things straightened out

tbh I don't know what the actual problem is to fit an RGB Led into the housing where they have had a single color so far, esentially the same size, everything else is just two or three more wires and a controller off the shelves, been checking their website on a regular basis but nothing changed the last months.

I have been following Paragoptics RGB kit too. I have also browsed most of their products for other Ram trim levels. I have also done many retro headlights and many RGB kits over the years. Fitting the RGB and the board is probably the easiest part. I think the wiring for plug and play and making everything work with the factory dimmer may be some of the challenge. Look at the door LED only having 2 wires. How do you plug and play this when 4 wires are needed for RGB? They would need to supply new wires or plugs or something.

I am sure these guys have much more experience and knowledge than me but making a simple plug and play kit for users to install may be challenging.

For what it's worth, if you have an order in and contact them, they will refund your money without hesitation. I received my refund the next day. I love the product and use it (red interior lights) in my truck, but the uncertainty of when it's going to be available and the lack of transparency unless you asked about it was a little too much for me.

I'm pretty sure there will be a need to put new four pin wiring in the truck, as there is with the oracle kit, two wires would not be impossible but a whole different story with current and data on the same wires and coding/decoding on both ends, highly doubt that route. Using the trucks dimmer would be nice but you will need a separate remote and controller for the color anyways.

I remember reading 1 member said he got a prototype or some first set of RGB from Paragoptics. It would be good if he could offer us some insight in to what the kit came with, how it works, how the install was. Does it work as intended, are there issues?

I reread that post where you asked him earlier, he didn't have the RGB kit, he had red. There is no controller with single color.
