First post. Tired of my Raptor. I've had a 2018 and now a 2020. Going to pull the trigger and special order a TRX from one of the below MSRP dealers.

I'm pretty much equal distance between Mark Dodge and Koons.

Any good/bad or plusses/minus on either?

Might be easier to fly up to Virginia, but both prices are comparable.

Love some feedback!

Actually they're below invoice.

Koons seems to be very popular. I ordered from Granger and I'm impressed, but they're probably farther from you.

From what I understand, MD doesn't play any financing or state tax games like Koons does. It would be an easy choice between the two for me. That said I've had nothing but good things to say about my Granger orders.

Reading thru some post will answers your Q’s. Also had a Raptor. Trackhawk now. Will likely be adding a TRX. Miss having a truck. Dad has a newer Rebel, was very impressed compared with the Raptor.

Welcome to the forum! Lots of great info on here. I had a 2019 Raptor before the TRX and you are going to absolutely love the switch.

The forum dealers have helped a ton forum members get into trucks at great prices so you really can't go wrong with any of them. Pick one that is convenient for you to take delivery. If you are trading make sure to try and get a trade appraisal now to get a feel for who offers more.

What financing/state tax games are you referring to? Genuinely asking in case I'm missing something...

I placed an order through them yesterday and, besides the higher doc fee of $899, the only charges were tags & taxes. The ordering process seemed pretty straight-forward. No stipulations with regard to financing, etc.

From what people on here say, you're required to fill out the credit app even if you don't want to finance through them, they also push their financing hard and you're required to pay your out of state tax/registration through them.

Im just down the road from you in Cooper City. I bought my 2nd TRX from Dan Cummins and picked it up ~2 months ago. Very easy transaction. So much so I just ordered a 2023 from them today and had my boss and dad order a Rubicon 4Xe and a 23 Rebel.

They collect tax/title/registration fees and send the paperwork to the nearest tag agency here in Florida for you. Couldnt be easier.

Copy all. I'll be sure to report on my experience, but so far so good.

I'd rather do it myself. Since there's a choice, I'll pick the dealer that doesn't force me to pay them to file my tax and registration for me.

Got my Redeye Challenger from Dan Cummins (6/2021) and it was a pleasant experience. Got my TRX from Koons (7/2022) and it was a great experience. I found it funny how the TRX buying experience was much better than my S580 Mercedes.

For me, if Koons sells it (CDJR) I’m giving them my business.

They overcharged me on NYS registration and without asking I was issued a refund of the difference. I was also kept up to speed of the status/process on their end and communicating with NYS DMV.

I never had a clue what Dan Cummins (Paris store) was doing and I reached out to them bi-weekly.

I ordered from Koons and it was meh. I'll probably take my business elsewhere if I decide to get a 2023.

Hello Sir, I’m blown away by how so many members on here even from far away states are buying custom ordered 23’ TRX’s from Granger at a comparatively smaller 9K ‘under msrp’ discount. There are several other dealers offering the same exact 23’ TRX’s at both 10.5K ‘UNDER MSRP’ and even 11K ‘UNDER MSRP’ ! Even considering their slightly higher doc fees, the discount is still MASSIVELY in their favor over Granger. Respectfully, am I missing something or is it simply hive mentality going on here swarming over the provably poorer discounted Granger cause they have a ‘nice’ reputation? An aversion to Koons I totally understand as they’ve hosed a ton of people I know in a mryiad of ways and have an absurdly unacceptable $899 doc fee but what’s this apparent obsession over Granger at a lowly 9K under? I simply don’t get it?

Anyway, feel free to DM me for my sources for the truly hugest discounts on custom ordered 23’ TRX’s….Cheers!

another fellow delray/boca raton Trx owner!

Distance mainly. at Granger I'm getting it for 9k under sticker with a $700 cheaper doc fee. so that's like $9700 under sticker in comparison.

I'm not driving it home another 600 or 1600 miles for a few hundred bucks. or even $1000. and I really like how Granger does business, if a few hundred bucks is going to break me I can't afford a 90k gas hog anyway.

That and I've had nothing but good things to say about my interactions with all of the various people I've dealt with at Granger on both my 392 and TRX order. Could I save a few more bucks somewhere else, sure but I'm saving a big chunk of money, it's close to me so the drive is only around 6 hours and I'm extremely comfortable dealing with the people at Granger. They also gave me the highest trade in quote I received for my 2020 Power Wagon that I traded in on the 392. Additionally they don't play any other games with financing or requiring you to have them pay your out of state taxes like some of the other dealerships.

For a little shop in a small Iowa town (literally a 1 gas station town) they have single handedly made Iowa the 4th highest TRX receiving state behind TX, CA and PA so you know they're doing something right there.

Good point. no undercoating, glass treatments, cleaning fees or any of those games just a flat out sale agreement showing what you pay .

And just a trip permit to get you home and you deal with your DMV , simple and short.

Hey, I just finalized what I want with my build and now need to figure out who's got the best deals. What dealer is offering 11k off MSRP currently? Thanks
