Orange TRX thoughts on Color

The shade of orange on the ignition edition TRX looks best on sports cars. On a truck it reminds too many people of construction or service trucks. A high impact color like 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 green with envy would have been better.

By that logic, nobody would buy white trucks, either. Vast majority of service, construction, fleet trucks are white.

Exactly white is sooo basic and commercial appliance looking rolling refrigerators on trucks. It takes a lot of black as a contrast color to help it become a menacing storm trooper. I really like orange if it stood out more like hemi orange metallic or go mango.

Any thoughts on around 2014 dodge header orange. It was similar to victiman c on the classic mopars. Toxic orange on the challengers and chargers was like a copper orange. Chevrolets 2019 crush orange on camaros looks good but I like the corvettes Sebring orange metallic better lots of flake in the paint.

Initially I didn’t care for it but I kind of like it now. I still like the flame-red the best but I would definitely consider the orange if the opportunity came

I'd love it if the truck came in Go Mango - my favorite color on the Dodge palette. Saw this video on YouTube - any idea whether this was a custom one-off? Doesn't look wrapped as the jambs and everything are covered.

Look at any parking lot or stretch of any roadway; all the slight variations of black, white and silver/gray. BORING. Go bold or go home.

It actually is a Dodge color. Ignition Orange is the exact same paint code PL4 from the Dodge Viper TA.

I love it on the Viper, charger and challenger. Just not a fan of it on the TRX. Probably because in my mind I view orange as a color for race cars, not trucks. Sorry y’all, just not my cup of tea.

That’s a normal Ignition Edition. Sales guy just called it the wrong color. You can tell by the wheels and side decals.

Weird, it looks so much darker than the other videos I've seen of the Ignition Edition - very similar to the Go Mango that can appear reddish in some lights. Maybe it was just the lighting of the video then.
