I would like to see this resolved for folks since it is at least something people can do without a tune. Has it been definitively confirmed that this is a belt size issue or is this a pulley groove profile issue? Can someone snap a picture of the pulley groove profile versus the stock one to make sure folks aren’t chasing the wrong root cause? I only say this because there are quite a few folks running much smaller upper pulley combos, which is less belt contact area than the lower, and they don’t seem to suffer the same issue.

I agree with your thinking. The Incognito lower pulley is larger than stock and all things being equal should result in less belt slip.

I'm noticing mine getting a slight squeal as well. Haven't put many miles on mine maybe 150 since install. But definitely noticeable squeal/squeak...

To be honest I didn't really notice it until someone commented on this thread a couple weeks back. I thought what I was hearing was the hellcat exhaust noise everyone has, or whatever that's called.

Supposedly, there was a groove-type issue before but resolved by Ripatuned. From what my performance shop believes, it's just the wrong belt size because it was really difficult to get put back on. and is causing way too much tension. I'm not sure if this is a belt manufacturer issue with incorrect sized belts or what. I would assume these pulley sleeves are laser cut or 3D printed with variances of less than 1mm between parts. Rubber belts aren't so easy to get exactly right due to the material being used. I'm not a mechanic so I really don't know what it could be. Just my hypothesis.

Ok so the incognito that I pulled off my 21 before trading it in may be worth more than I paid for it because its a proven no squeeker?

Has anyone thought of shooting a little belt dressing on one of the belts to isolate for sure which is the culprit. ISMW don't spray both. In this case just the ac belt. I just had 2 800 kits installed and with the smaller uppers I would think it would be a squeekahoic if it were the blower and it's fine.
Most users here are pretty easy going. If it were a belt size issue they would gladly change it out but ripa should be attentive and offer possible solutions.

I agree i think they’ve lost some potential customers (me included) until im confident theyve got their shit together. Not buyin $100k supercharged hellcat super truck & spending almost another G-bird just to make it sound incredibly annoying and gimme an opportunity to look for waldo with my fellow squeakers lol

If that were the case, I would think everyone would be experiencing the issue. The percentage of squealing belts is extremely low based on the amount of incognitos sold.

Not if the design is on the edge or if the groove profile issue is actually an issue with too large tolerances permitted on the drawing or rings actually not to print (or a machine shop with poor QA). Statistically speaking you could just be seeing issues with parts that were on the edge of the print dimensions and trying to band aid the problem with belts doesn’t become a sustainable fix.

Just a thought to consider.
