New Lunar at my dealer

Was looking at a few used TRX and the dealer said he has a brand new Lunar that just came in.
He’s asking $25k ADM.
I’m looking at 3 used ones and can’t make my mind up.

Tell that slime-ball to shove that ADM where the sun don’t shine. Shop elsewhere. Plenty of people on here have found lunars for MSRP. Maybe even a few for under.

I got one in Alabama yesterday for MSRP. I was talking to several dealers in Ohio and Louisiana as well all were at MSRP. They are out there.

Throw him an offer under MSRP for a fair market adjustment and act surprised when he says no, then schedule a few follow up mails/callbacks.

I think some more leg work looking will save you a lot of money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy out of state as it is easy to have it shipped or drive it back. Maybe get with TRX90210 (ref his post earlier in this thread) and see who those other msrp dealers were with the Lunar. Good luck, worth the effort.

Thanks. I’m not sure I want a Lunar, but I thought the dealer was crazy. He has a Launch that I like. But I really like the white ones.

Whatever color you choose, I’d go for a new truck if possible. If you have to settle for a color that doesn’t grow on you, you could always wrap it. With trucks like these, knowing that nobody else has abused it or modded it in any way brings peace of mind. That’s just my opinion though. Do whatever makes YOU most happy.

It looks like most of the Tampa area dealers just got new 23’ Lunars. The second one has a $30k adm.

I just bought mine at 9k above msrp. I searched for a month for Trx lunars and called no less than 20 dealers all over the country in the last 7 days.

While many advertise MSRP price I found none who sold for msrp. Every one of them when I called gave me the mark up price. Once was literally 40k markup that they generously offered to goto 35k. That was in Henderson NV and it was advertised at 108k (as it had side rails).

After a lot of calling the lowest I found was 116k before TTL and as I was talking to the guy another salesman sold it. I ended up getting what I felt was a reasonable deal at a place in Texas for 118 K (but they then increased my trade value by nearly 2k).

Market supply and demand. Is what it is.

What part of TX? Mines supposed to arrive by train 9/7 in Alliance.
